
Ben and Laura Harris bought Ticklemore Cheese from Robin and Sarie in October 2023. Ben continues to do what he does best…….make phenomenal cheese ! Laura joined him, assisting with cheesemaking and the many other tasks within the dairy in September 2023. Keep your eyes peeled for any tasting sessions – either Ben or Laura (or both if you are really lucky !) will probably be behind the cheese board.
Ben Harris started working in the cheese dairy in 2002 having been brought up on a dairy farm. From school he went to catering college and worked at the Carved Angel restaurant in Dartmouth for five years. He has worked in all areas of the cheese dairy, starting off with the pasteurising of the milk and the care of the cheese once it has been made and progressed to being in overall charge of the dairy and the main cheesemaker. In October 2023, Ben (and his wife Laura) became Directors of Ticklemore Cheese Ltd.


Laura started working in the cheese dairy in 2023. Laura has previously been involved with the dairy by attending events when an extra pair of hands has been needed. She now works full time alongside Ben, managing all aspects of cheese care and orders.
